On the night of 24 October, the developers of Counter-Strike 2 released a patch with which they fixed flaws in maps and bugs.
List of updates and innovations:
- Fixed bad grenade interaction when colliding with objects on Vertigo.
- Fixed the ‘Hit the wall’ exploit on Vertigo.
- MIlls has been updated to the latest version from Steam Workshop.
- Localisation lines have been added on Mills to hint location names.
- Fixed mouse inconsistency when the game render scale was different from the game window scale.
- Fixed erroneous target hit animation when firing on the client side.
- Fixed erroneous hit effect when using Zeus x27 on client side.
- Fixed a bug that caused a death scream to not be emitted when using Zeus x27 in the head.
- Results from previous majors are now available in the ‘Watch’ menu.
The last patch for CS2 was released on the night of 16 October. Then the developers improved the graphics, as well as fixed bugs that led to unstable operation of the shooter. Thus, the game now has the ability to apply colour correction based on albedo with translucent leaf textures.
