It became known in which cybersports disciplines were awarded the most prize money for the competitive season of 2024.
The first place was occupied by Dota 2 - last year the discipline played $22.68 million in prize money at 102 tournaments. The second line was taken by Counter-Strike - the total prize money at 712 tournaments amounted to $22.67 million. Despite the close figures in 2024, over the past eight years, the difference in prize money between the two disciplines has been huge: in Dota 2 during this time played $330 million, and in CS - $155 million.
Despite the record number of views, League of Legends ranked seventh with $9.23 million in prize money from 120 tournaments, and below it was the shooter Valorant with $8.94 million and 296 tournaments. The ranking also included three mobile disciplines: Honor of Kings (3rd place), PUBG Mobile (4th place) and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (9th place).
