Professional Dota 2 player Danil Dendi Ishutin recalled a situation at one of the LAN-tournaments, where one of the participants expressed dissatisfaction with the behavior of a cyber athlete in matches.

Ishutin shared his memories on the stream of content-maker Jean Gorgc Stefanowski, his words were quoted by Cyber portal.

I can tell you how I learned that saying bad things to other people can backfire. It was around 2006, back in the first Dota.

I was 16 or 17, and I was small - much shorter in stature, skinny. I'm not particularly big now, and I was tiny back then. And I flamed some guy, I was very toxic.

I don't remember for what reason, it was either a tournament or a public. And on some other day I took a train to another city, 10 hours to Kiev, to play the first Dota lane.

I arrive, and then some big dude comes up to me, 2 times bigger and taller than me. He comes up, looks at me and says, “I'm this dude. That's all you told me.” I'm like, “Okay.”

He looked at me, put his hand on my shoulder and said: “I'm not going to hurt you, but you need to choose your words more intelligently when you talk to people.” That was a good lesson for me, and I've been more careful since then. But I still had similar stories.

There was a case with a guy from Kazakhstan, I also went there for a lan, he found me, and we had a conversation. In the first Dota there were real cases of fights, but not with my participation.

Earlier between Akbar SoNNeikO Butaev and Ammar ATF Assaf there was a clash. The AVULUS captain asked the Team Falcons offliner about the reasons for the insults in matchmaking. The managers stopped the development of the conflict, but Butaev's team was deprived of extra time on drafts in the upcoming match as punishment. Two days later, the cybersportsmen made up.
